Conflict Is an Opportunity WEEK 8 - Extended Lesson
Here are some fun ideas and videos to help you wrap up this week's learning focus.
Choose one of the numbered activities, and then watch at least two videos and answer the questions about them in your notebook.
1. Read the story of Joseph in Genesis 37 and 39-50 with your parents or teacher. After each chapter, make notes in your notebook of all the things that Joseph did that would glorify God and serve other people.
2. Are you having a conflict with someone now? If so, make a list in your notebook of all the things you can do with God's help to glorify Him, serve other people, and grow to be like Jesus in this situation.
See how Moses had an opportunity to bring God glory. (Exodus 14:5-31)
Could Moses control what Pharaoh did? How did God help Moses to glorify Himself?
See how Abigail had an opportunity to glorify God. (1 Samuel 25:23-34)
What did Abigail do that glorified God? What was the outcome of her actions?
Look how Daniel had an opportunity to show his faith in God, and how God showed His power for Daniel. (Daniel 6:1-28)
Was Daniel controlled by fear and anxiety? What qualities did Daniel exhibit?
Look and listen to how Paul and Silas had an opportunity to serve God through conflict. (Acts 16:22-34)
Explain how Paul and Silas made lemonade out of lemons with God's help.
